Best sellers, DVDs and other high-demand circulating items in the standard collection sometimes are not readily available for checkout. A maximum of ten holds may be placed on these items. Holds must be checked out within four days. Patrons may only check out four DVD's at a time, even if ten are on hold.
To place an item on hold you need to:
- Be a valid library cardholder
- Have no current overdue materials
- Have fines totaling no more than $3.00
You may place your hold in person, over the telephone, or via IBistro.
Once your hold order is placed any member library will send the requested materials to the library location of your choice.
You may be notified by mail or by an automated voice call when your item(s) on hold is/are available for pickup.
Reference materials or items in the "Friends' Rental Collections" may not be placed on hold. |
