Co-hosts Tamell “Big” Bailey and CathyB invite adults and young adults, as audience members and performers, to gain inspiration from new and original poems and songs. Each month’s theme is offered as a possible writing prompt, but other subjects are welcome. Following each month’s featured performer, new and experienced “word artists” are given the stage for three minutes to practice presentation skills in front of a respectful, welcoming audience in a “radio- and family-friendly” environment.
Questions or early signup? Contact Cathy at: 803-642-2020, ext 3 or email cathyb@abbe-lib.org
At the event, open mic signup begins at 5:30pm
