LET’S TALK ABOUT IT (LTAI) SERIES Discussion with Dr. Tom Mack: The Scarlet Letter

The Scarlet Letter is the first of three titles to be presented between September and December 2025 as part of the discussion series, LET’S TALK ABOUT IT (LTAI) – Good Book/Bad Movie. It is based on the novel by Nathaniel Hawthorne in which an affair between a young woman and a pastor has disastrous consequences.

With discussions led by USC Aiken Humanities scholars, LTAI is more than your average book club. Participants read, watch, and then compare the “good” novel to its respective “bad” film adaptation.
