LITERACY AND LEMONADE

Do you remember when you learned to read?  Do you remember how you learned to read?  You are invited to the kickoff of the new adult literacy program coming to Aiken this Fall!  Come join us for lemonade and cookies while we learn about the topic of literacy from Lisa Cole, Director of Turning Pages South Carolina, turningpagesSC.org, a Columbia-based nonprofit that teaches adults to read free of cost. 

If it turns out that you are excited about the thought of helping another adult improve their reading through one-on-one personal tutoring, you may want to stay after the presentation to learn about becoming a Turning Pages Tutor at the new Aiken Branch of Turning Pages – SC.
