NASA Volunteer, John Adams Hodge of Columbia, will conduct a presentation for adults (children are welcome) that reviews emerging concepts regarding locations where life might exist in the Universe.
The talk will survey different “habitable zones” where life might exist in the Solar System, and it will discuss discoveries and findings from spacecraft launched by NASA and the European Space Agency that have more closely delineated how and where life could form in our Solar System. In addition, the presentation will outline how new discoveries of exoplanet systems around other stars have provided analogues for habitable zones capable of producing extraterrestrial life in the Universe.
