Turning Pages SC: Free Reading Program Comes to Aiken!

We are excited to bring a new reading program for adults to Aiken County!  Turning Pages South Carolina is a Columbia-based nonprofit that teaches adults to read through personalized, one-on-one tutoring, free of cost.  Once trained, volunteer reading tutors are matched with an adult learner. 

Commitment is one hour per week until 24 sessions are complete.  All books and supplies are provided and all tutoring sessions are held at the library.  Our first Tutor Training Workshop will be October 19, 2024 at the Aiken County Public Library Main Branch.  Participation is free, but registration is required.
