Start submitting your entries for the 18th Annual Teen Ghost Story Contest on Monday, Sept. 21! The deadline for entries is Friday, Oct. 23, at 5 p.m. The contest is open to teens in grades 6-12. Entries may be any number of words up to 3,000; and they must be typed and double-spaced. You can bring entries to the Nancy Carson Library or email (PDF or .doc/x formats only, please) to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Entries must include name, age, grade, school, and phone number or email address. Failure to follow these guidelines is an automatic disqualification.
Winners will be announced Thursday, Oct. 29, at 7 p.m. on Facebook and YouTube with Ms. Renee reading the winning entries. Winners may pick up their prizes beginning Friday, October 30. Winners will receive gift certificates from Amazon.com: $50 for 1st place, $25 for 2nd place, and $15 for 3rd place.
