Start submitting your entries for the Teen Ghost Story Contest on Friday, Sept. 14! The deadline for entries is Friday, Oct. 12 at 6 pm. The contest is open to teens in grades 6-12. It must be 1,000 words or less; typed and double-spaced. You can bring entries to the library or email (PDF or .doc/x formats only, please) to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Entries must include Name, age, grade, school, and phone number or email address. Failure to follow these guidelines is an automatic disqualification.
Winners will be awarded Thursday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. during Terrifying Tales for Teens. Winners will receive gift certificates from Amazon.com: $50 for 1st place, $25 for 2nd place, and $15 for 3rd place.
Writing skills packets will be available at the reference desk.
