Hoopla Service Update

Like many libraries across the country, ABBE has made some changes to our Hoopla offerings.

Hoopla is a pay per checkout service and the price point varies between .99 and 3.99 per item. With the increased popularity of digital media, ABBE simply can not afford to offer Hoopla for much longer without some changes.

• Effective immediately the checkout limit is now five instead of six.
• The maximum price ABBE will pay per checkout has been lowered.

You may notice a series you are in the middle of is no longer available or a title you need to renew disappeared from Hoopla. Please contact us through our library catalog’s “Send a Request” feature so that a Librarian may assist you.
